In 1977, John Wicks founded John Wicks and Son, a company which carried out roofing, cladding and steel erecting works. This company enjoyed many years of successful trading with Johns’ son Gary becoming involved and the business moved from strength to strength. In 2002, it became a limited company and moved to larger premises which we still occupy at Crabbers Cross, Rattery. Along with the move, new sheet metal equipment was purchased and a sheet metal and steel fabrication department was born.
In 2003, we expanded to a second location and relocated the steel fabrication work, with the sheet metal staying at Crabbers Cross.
The machine was delivered and installed in June 2007. The purchase took us in to a whole new market as the list of materials we began to cut was endless. Which was the begining of Western Waterjet Ltd.
In October 2009, we ceased trading as John Wicks and Son Ltd and transferred all services offered by John Wicks and Son Ltd to Western Waterjet Ltd to enable us to give a better customer service experience, and simplify our procedures for our customers and suppliers. In 2010, we hope to achieve further growth and expand our customer base.
